Wemyss Malts Scotch Single Malt 14 Year Smoke On The Rocks 1997

“Smoke on the Rocks” comes from Bunnahabhain Distillery, was distilled in 1997, and bottled in August 2011. The scotch is a limited edition, and only 338 bottles were released.

Nose: This peated Bunnahabhain is immediately Islay; redolent with phenolic notes alongside wood chips and sweet smoke.

Palate: The intense, oily palate explodes with sweet malt and hazelnuts before becoming soft, sweet and lightly smoked.

Finish: Long finish.
