92 Points Tim Atkin "Best Argentinian Malbec" NO.1 World Wine Awards

BEST VALUE RED WINE OF THE YEAR BY TIM ATKIN

"Trivento Malbec Reserve 2021 was named by Tim Atkin as one of the best Argentinean wines in terms of its price-quality relationship. The renowned British critic presented the results of his 2022 Argentina Special Report, in which he provides an overview of the country’s wines and best vintages. He also named Trivento Malbec Reserve 2021 as Best Value Red Wine of the Year and awarded it 92 points. This represents a new achievement for the winery, which continues to receive major acknowledgments. Given the volumes involved, the quality and consistency of this wine are remarkable. In fact, this may be the best vintage yet. Very lightly wooded, it’s an equal blend of grapes from Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, with violet and rose petal perfume, fine tannins, tangy black cherry and blueberry fruit and a vibrant finish”, said Tim Atkin, Master of Wine.

Trivento Reserve Malbec 2021 is a 100% Malbec wine produced in a dry continental climate with high sunlight exposure, enabling optimal ripening of the grapes. It has received a vegan certification from The Vegan Society, and part of the energy used for its production comes from solar panels."

90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2021 Private Reserve Malbec was produced with grapes from Valle de Uco, with 15% of the volume in contact with oak staves. It's 13.5% alcohol and has a medium body and a perfumed nose. There's a little more concentration and clout here than in the Reserve, a little more seriousness and freshness, reflecting the cooler conditions of the Valle de Uco that is mentioned on the label.

Malbec powerhouse doubles performance over five years to assume top position in global sales value.
