Tommyrotter Whiskey Cider Barrel Finish

This whiskey was distilled in Tennessee in a bourbon mash style, then aged for 7 years* in re-charred white American oak barrels. The whiskey was then finished for months in hard cider barrels from Black Bird Cider Works, a cidery along the rural southern shores of Lake Ontario.

Color: Chestnut Gold
Aroma: Coriander seed, licorice, dill, and black tea aromas, with some grape and blueberry jam, lemon, and oak
Taste: Sweet fruit tempers the herbaceous and mineral palate; layers of cooked berry, Coca-Cola, cherries, lemon oil, and peanuts create a silky, rounded profile
Finish: Rye spice and generous oak that completes with a subtle cocoa aftertaste.
