This Temple Bar 12-year-old is a single malt special release, traditionally crafted using small copper pot stills. The whiskey was barreled in 2004, in a meticulous handpicked selection of fine oak casks, and matured for 12 years in the cellars of the Temple Bar, before being bottled by the Cleary family.
The Temple Bar 12-Year-Old is a small batch Irish whiskey made from 100% malted barley that was distilled in small, traditional copper pot stills and matured in casks that once held the finest American Bourbon. It has a full and fruity aroma, strong malt flavours and a characteristic hint of citrus.
This The Temple Bar 12 year old Single Malt Irish Whiskey special release was traditionally distilled on copper pot stills and filled in bourbon barrels in 2004. The barrels were carefully selected and then bottled by the Cleary family. The whiskey was allowed to mature for 12 years in the cellars of the Temple Bar in Dublin?s Bar district. The whiskey was distilled on small pot stills. It has a very distinctive and harmonious flavor. Tom Cleary?s family has been around for decades and involved with the theme of whiskey and some barrels had decades ago already matured in the basements of their bars. So the step for Tom Cleary was obvious to also have his own Irish pub whiskey.
