The first batch of cask-strength 10-year-old single malt from GlenAllachie, a whisky that has up 'til now been largely trapped in blends. This is a rich, honeyed Speyside single malt with notes of toffee, rosehip, spice and marmalade. It was matured in a mix of American oak, Pedro Ximénez, oloroso and virgin oak casks.
This whisky is part of the first core range from GlenAllachie since the distillery was acquired by master distiller Billy Walker, formerly of BenRiach, in 2017.
