Seravino Chianti Riserva DOCG 2016

Chianti is a red blend from Tuscany, it is the most recognized wine, outside of Italy. It is as essential to Italian cuisine as extra virgin olive oil. It is a tart, spicy, herbaceous Chianti wine. This Reserva is a Chianti with all the grapes sourced from a single vineyard. The high elevation of the vineyard with it's hot summer days and cool nights helps the grapes develop good acidity, aromatic notes and more structured tannins. This wine is full bodied with excellent structure and playful acidity all backed by a firm tannic backbone. This classic Chianti D.O.C.G. is aged over 24 months. It is an elegant wine and pairs well with meat and pasta meals.
