This extremely distinctive prize-winning red wine is produced in very limited quantities. Its generous yet elegant style derives partly from judicious maturation in barrels of different sizes. Very very smooth and velvety. Tastes of cranberry, chocolate, cherry, and oak. Nice Amarone.

Deep red color, the nose of oak and soured honey/dull rose, the taste of oak to start, then cranberry with flower/honey-like aftertaste, hints of raisin taste 

Completely blown away by the power of the notes .. Rich Bouquet with hints of chocolate and redcurrants.

Somewhat Oakey, well balanced, light tannins, very complimentary to several food choices (like a cab light, but more interesting than a Pinot Noir). Delicious!!!
