OR Haganuz French Blend 2014

The Or Haganuz French Blend is a Bordeaux-style blend made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wine has been aged in French oak barrels for 20 months and offers medium acidity, refined tanins and medium body. The Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc contribute aromas and flavors of blackcurrant leaf, green bell pepper, tobacco and forest floor to the juicy dark fruit of plum, cherry and currant that come from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The Or Haganuz French Blend received a 90 point rating from Wine Enthusiast.

Aromas of blackberry, fennel bulb and smoke set the scene for flavors of cherry, raspberry, chocolate and tobacco leaf. Mellow but ever-apparent tannins ply the palate alongside a strong bolt of acidity that tapers off into a pomegranate-imbued finish.
