Maison Prunier Cognac 20 Year Old
Maison Prunier Cognac 20 Year Old
Notes: Celebrating more than two centuries of history in Cognac as distillers and bottlers back to 1769, and with the family history stretching back even further, to 1701, as cognac wholesalers there, Maison Prunier has carved out a unique niche in this celebrated region. Renewing a 19th-century tradition that ended in the 1930s, the house honors vintages as a historic part of the cognac business with its limited edition of Maison Prunier Cognac 20 Year Old. Aged in damp cellars, this cognac exhibits a pale golden color with a flash of orange. The nose is rich and powerful, with aromas of nuts, sandalwood, gingerbread and butter. In the mouth, this cognac is mellow, full and lingering, repeating the woody scents of the nose with flavors of honey, bitter chocolate and leather.
