Kujira Ryukyu Whisky Single Grain 8 Year

The nose is prevelent with apple skin, baking spice, toffee and honeycomb, take note Bourbon drinkers. The palate has an upfront hit of rad apple followed by light vanilla, candid nuts and clove.

Kujira used the Shinzato Shuzo facility to make this Japanese whisky. It is said to be the oldest distillery on Okinawa, founded in 1846. The 8 year is 100% single grain from long grain Indica Rice and the indigenous black Koji. The whisky is aged in Kentucky Bourbon casks and finished is Spanish Sherry casks.
