Krug Grande Cuvée 170^th edition is the new baby of the family. Re-created around the harvest of 2014, there are also 195 different wines taken from 11 other years in the blend, spanning back to 1998.

 The art of blending so many different years gives Krug Grande Cuvée its unique fullness of flavors and aromas, impossible to express with the wines of just a single year. The Edition number identifies a specific creation of Krug Grande Cuvée; it corresponds to the number of years in the House of Krug the founder’s dream has been recreated. Krug Cellar Master Julie Cavil together with the tasting committee recorded over 4000 tasting notes to consult before any blending decision was made, tasting around 250 wines of the year several times and 150 reserve wines from 14 different years.
