Game Of Thrones Meets Johnnie Walker With 'White Walker' Whisky

The 41.7% ABV is a nod to the 7 kingdoms and 1 throne in the show

Johnnie Walker is getting ready to release a special-limited edition expression created in partnership with HBO.  White Walker by Johnnie Walker will be released in the fall of 2018 to celebrate the last season of the worldwide hit show – Game of Thrones.

The first hints about this special edition came as a 20-second teaser video released by the company. Today we got the label application on the TTB database. One of the most interesting things that we found on the label is; the suggested way of serving White Walker by Johnnie Walker is directly from the freezer for an ‘icy reveal’.

Liquid Profile: At the heart of the blend are single malts from Cardhu and Clynelish, one of Scotland’s most
northern distilleries. This whisky is chill-filtered to 1.5°C degrees and best served cold directly from the freezer.
Featuring notes of caramelized sugar and vanilla, fresh red berries with a touch of orchard fruit, this whisky
develops in complexity as it warms to room temperature.
