Hermon Mount Hermon Moscato 2017

The 2017 Mount Hermon Moscato features an aromatic mix of litchi, lime, lemon, pear and tropical fruit characters, layered with floral and spice notes. This youthful dessert wine is lightly sparkling, agreeably sweet yet pleasantly drinkable. Mount Hermon Moscato is best enjoyed within about 18 months of vintage.

A wonderful aperitif, the wine also pairs well with lemon-almond biscotti, strawberry tiramisu, or cherry pie.

Yarden Hermon Moscato was produced from Muscat Canelli grapes grown entirely in the cool climate, rocky volcanic soil, and high altitude of the Golan Heights. Stopping the fermentation of the juice quite early results in a wine that is lightly sparkling, aromatic and sweet. Its relatively low alcohol content makes it unusually light and refreshing for a dessert wine. This wine is enjoyable as an aperitif and goes well with desserts. To preserve the quality of the wine, the bottle should be stored on its side in a cool, dark place. Best served at 41 - 45 degrees F.
