Hans Wirsching Scheurebe Trocken 2017

The wine yields grapefruit, sage, and cassis notes, with fine aromas of lemongrass, passion fruit, and green papaya.  The palate is gorgeously layered and expresses weighty minerality, laser-sharp acidity, and pure fruit with a honeyed edge. 

It is a beautiful pairing with practically anything from Middle Eastern to Asian cuisines, BBQ to potato salad, aged Gouda, and apple donuts.
