Glenfiddich Scotch Single Malt 15 Year Unique Solera Reserve 2015

A 15 year old matured in American bourbon, Portuguese sherry and virgin oak. The whisky was then married in a Solera vat. This is a great staple 15 year old from the Glenfiddich distillery. This innovative single malt from Glenfiddich is aged using a special Solera Vatting technique, which is unique to whisky maturation. 

Nose: Sherry, citrus - orange in particular, dry wood. Slight suggestion of smoke? Palate: Medium, Sherry, raisins. Fruitcake, spices, sweetness. Finish: Candied fruits, raisins, spices, Christmas pudding, oak takes over.
