Rioja Alavesa, Spain From Faustino estate vineyards in Spain’s Rioja region. These vineyards were planted in the late 1970s.

Grapes are de-stemmed and undergo fermentation for 10 days at 84°F. The grapes then go through a 20-day maceration period. Then they are aged for a total of 41 months (17 months in 100% American oak casks and 24 months in bottle).

92% Tempranillo; 8% Mazuelo
