The taste reveals similar flavors, with lots of fresh, red fruit and a light earthiness. It is fairly light bodied with a strong acidity that grows to the end, and finishes pleasantly.

The aroma is multi-faceted and builds in layers with bursts of red fruit and spice. Cranberries, cherries, and red currants are alive in the nose and followed by exotic smells of ground pepper and aromatic cloves.
