Eagle Glen Merlot Napa Valley 2017

This Napa Valley Merlot is well structured with flashy accents of dark fruits, chocolate and hints of mixed spices. It is rich and flavorful with a long dry finish. 

The 2017 Eagle Glen Merlot was harvested in Chiles Valley, Napa Valley. The Chiles Valley AVA is nestled in the Vaca Mountains above the northeast side of the Napa Valley. This Merlot has big tones, with hints of plum, black cherry, minerality and delicate anis notes, which helps provides a hint of the classic sweet, licorice flavor.

Ripe black fruit and coco with med - complexity. Palate was silky and full with low acid and elevated tannins. Straightforward character. Short and hot finish
