Domaine du Castel Rose du Castel 2019

The light color bears evidence to the fast pressing and the short contact time the new wine has had with the grape skins.

The fermentation period is long, under cold temperatures, resulting in a light and refreshing yet prominent wine. The rosé bears an aroma of tropical fruit, peach and roses, and goes down with a lychee, lime, grapefruit and peach flavor. The recommended serving temperature is 8 degrees Celsius.

Very light, bright pink in color, with on the nose, citrus blossom, peach, freshly picked cherries and strawberries as well as hints of orange peel. Light in body, bone dry but so refined and elegant, with medium-plus intensity, delicate and vibrant with notes of summer and stone fruits, tart red cherries, hints of underripe strawberries and juicy tangerines, slate, great saline, medium-plus acidity, with a touch of orange blossom water and red currants on the moderately long finish.
