Cognac, 'Reserve', 10 Yrs Old, Dudognon
Solid, good-value 10-year-old from Grande Champagne. Golden in color, offering bright, warm notes of apricot, plum and orange peel, with toasted oak, baking spice and bit of toffee coming on the palate. But the overall effect is light and lean. 91 Points Vinous, September 2019
Vanilla, light and delicate bouquet, light oak with butterscotch on the palate. D&M Tasting Notes
Pleasing aromatics include notes of apple, toffee and spice. Soft texture, with additional notes of vanilla on the palate. Delightful entry-level Grande Champagne! Charles Neal, Importer
This cognac was made from 100% ungi blanc grapes grown on the chalky vineyards of the Dudognon estate, located within the small town of Lignieres-Sconneville in the center of the Grande Champagne. the Dudognons have produced Cognac at their own distillery since 1776. After a completely natural elevage, their Cognacs are hand-bottled to order.
