Brenne Whiskey Single Malt 10 Year

This whisky was crafted by marrying together just four barrels of 10 year old French whisky, and was named the “#2 World’s Best Single Malt” at the 2015 World Whisky Awards in London. Four hundred kilometers southwest of Paris, the city of Cognac, France (population 19,066) lends its name to one of the world's best known types of brandy. There, a third-generation master distiller trained in the traditional art of cognac distillation — and with a secret love affair for whisky — has been making Brenne Single Malt Whisky since 2002.
As a result of this careful selection process, Brenne 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky has a rich aroma of red fruits and melted chocolate, which leads to an elegant palate filled with notes of ripe strawberries, creme brûlée, caramel and burnt sugar. The finish is soft and long-lasting, with notes of fresh honey, vanilla and ginger.
