1800 Tequila Anejo

1800 Anejo Tequila is made from 100 percent Blue Agave and aged in oak for at least one year, this matured tequila presents one of the finest flavors you can find. Sip, Savor and Celebrate. Copper color. Roasted nuts, dark toffee, toasty coconut, mocha, and brown spice aromas. A rich entry leads to a very smooth dry-yet-fruity full-bodied palate with roasted nuts, chocolate covered dates and figs, perfumed spice, and toasty oak notes. Finishes effortlessly with a spicy, sweet toffee, and oak spice fade. Very balanced, and luxurious.

1800 is aged (rested) in primarily in French oak with a small amount of American oak for up to 3 years. It is made from 100% agave. This is the higher end version, the others being 1800 Silver and 1800 Reposado. A low end Anejo which is redeemed by the price point. While it lacks the finish and complexity of higher end Anejos, it also lacks the price. Simple, no frills and cheap compared to other Anejos, but as much of a value as its other versions.
